Safety Training

Clean & Polish takes great pride in our commitment to safety in every project we undertake. We ensure that all of our work and equipment is compliant with OSHA guidelines. All of our professionals complete classroom and field safety training programs for all the work we perform. This ensures the safety of your company and their property, as well as each Clean & Polish professional.

Safety-Training Program

The Safety-Training Program is a mandatory seminar that each Clean & Polish team member - from supervisor to crew - completes annually. This one-week seminar reviews OSHA and ANSI standards and highlights the proper use of the following equipment and procedures:

Chemicals: HAZMAT program
Controlled descent equipment
Ladders and ladder work
Mobile lifts
Permanent installations

Rescue
Suspended scaffolding
Tower scaffolding
Window cleaning accident prevention

The Clean & Polish Safety Technician inspects all of our equipment and machinery. These examinations are documented per OSHA requirements. We also conduct first aid and CPR courses for every employee, as well as monthly safety meetings that review:

Continuing education training video
Equipment use and inspection
Federal, state and local OSHA, ANSI and employee requirements
HAZMAT program

Rescue techniques
Safety zones at both ground and roof levels
Van safety (preventing accidents and correctly storing equipment, chemicals, first aid kits and fire extinguishers)

Clean & Polish's managing partners are active on the IWCA Board and the ANSI Safety Standards Committees. This involvement in the development and certification of the industry's safety standards allows Clean & Polish to lead the industry in the adoption and implementation of the most current safety regulations.
